Joining the DLR fleet – Volvo’s FH Aero XL.
This new generation of Volvo trucks is designed to provide DLR with a minimised carbon footprint, as well as fuel savings by way of a new aero cab design. Camera monitoring systems replace conventional cab mirrors improving the vehicles aerodynamics and opening up the drivers field of view. Inside, the cab has a range of driver comfort options, also included are a number of safety features that meet DLR’s FORS Silver and London DVS requirements; features include blind spot monitoring, moving off information system (MOIS) and camera monitoring system.
Planned to join the road Feb 2026.
