DLR Transport provides road haulage services to the UK construction industry, our specialised fleet is built up of articulated and rigid body vehicles, trailer types include short urban, rear steering and curtainsider trailers along with the industry standard 45FT flatbed, most are able to be utilised with our Moffett forklift trucks, allowing DLR to provide a complete collection, transportation and delivery service.

FORS - Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme

FORS Silver accreditation confirms that DLR Transport employs good practice and complies with the requirements laid out by the FORS Standard. By achieving FORS Silver accreditation our fleet is compliant with the CLOCS Standard for Construction Logistics and with TfL’s WRRR (Work Related Road Risk).

DVS 2020

The Direct Vision Standard (DVS) is based on a Vision Star rating supplied by the manufacture of the vehicle and indicates how much a driver can see directly from their HGV cab in relation to other road users.

The DVS forms part of the Safety Permit for all HGVs over 12 tonnes entering London.

HS2 Approved

Our continued investment into new vehicles, driver and pedestrian safety equipment along with driver training ensures DLR Transport vehicles are approved for the delivery of goods to a number of HS2 sites including the Hinkley Point Nuclear PowerStation.

DLR Transport operate a large fleet of Moffett vehicle mounted forklift trucks that are able to on/offload various product types across the UK. Our Moffett forklifts have lifting capacities up to 2.5tonnes and are compatible with a many of our vehicle types including rear steering flatbed and curtainsider trailers.
